Premonition: is a type of Extra Sensory Perception: It simply means a person who has perceived information about people, places or events before they happen. There isn’t any conventional scientific evidence for premonition, and those skeptical of precognition and other forms of ESP believe it to be the result of self-delusion or fraud.
Skeptics believe our memories have natural tendencies to remember coincidences more often than other non-coincidences. People will tend to remember more often when they were right about a future event and forget when they were wrong. They think precognition can be explained away naturally. My opinion is that these people are skeptic because; they lack any personal experiences of unexplained events. They simply ignore or dismiss events that have happened to them which, they can’t explain away with any rational explanation using just the five senses.
Premonition has existed for centuries. Our history books have many examples of seers, prophets and oracles. In this day and age, examples of precognition usually exist in most families in every walk of life. I imagine you the reader, if you think about it for a moment, could tell us about an event that happened to you, or in your family. Many famous people such as political leaders like Sir Winston Churchill and President Abraham Lincoln were said to have had premonitions about certain events.
Many people who experience premonition do so involuntary, it just happens. They didn’t ask for this gift it just appeared. They can’t tell you why or how they knew about the outcome of future event, they just did. It comes to some people in dreams, in others thoughts just appeared in their mind. One thing is certain, they are very sure that it was a strong knowing and they knew they just had to pay attention and take action based on the facts that had been revealed to them.
The
USA, United
Kingdom, and Soviet Governments have recruited psychics to conduct
investigations. They were looking to find out, how these powers could be used
to better mankind and have conducted many experiments over the years. The
biggest problem, most of these experiments concluded, is psychic ability seems
unreliable. By this I mean, you cannot will it to happen, or turn it on or off
like a light switch. A stressful situation of any kind, or pressure, appears to
make it unreliable. These Government experiments were successful more times
than could be considered coincidence. This defies skeptics and tells us, even
though we don’t understand something, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
I
can tell you from my own experience, anyone who chooses to develop and use
their psychic abilities will find it becomes stronger. Very few psychics can
work under stressful conditions. The mind needs to be completely relaxed in
order to connect with source energy. I think skeptics get their best evidence
to keep them in denial, from people who fake precognition and other forms of
psychic abilities. Don’t forget a false premonition can just be your
imagination running wild. I’m a strong believer in looking for a rational
explanation first, if you don’t find one, then accept you’ve had some divine
guidance and count your blessings.
