Q) What is Intuition?

According to the dictionary intuition means 'Immediate mental apprehension without reasoning; immediate insight.'

The way I have come to understand intuition;
It’s being sensitive to the vibrational frequency of people places, things and situations.Often referred to as a “Gut feeling”. It can be described as sometimes "Knowing with out knowing, what you know, or how you know it, but being guided by the knowing and trusting it's coming from the divine source.

This often comes with a sense peace, ease and comfort from allowing the intuition to guide you. We experience Intuition when we are aware of our connection to source and this increases our awareness of the connection to all people, places, things and situations… You might liken this to being at one with yourself…. “In the moment”.

Thoughts & feelings can get in the way…of our connection to source and the flow of intuition. Our thoughts and feelings are just indicators to tell us how we are doing. We often feel as if we "know" things without actually having the information from an outside source. The classic example that nearly everyone can relate to is the telephone ringing, and knowing who it is before you answer it.

Developing Your Intuition
It’s not so much about developing your intuition but rather developing your psychic awareness of your intuition and you connection with universal source energy and allowing that connection to flow.

How to Develop Your Awareness
Meditation & Yoga Breathing are both excellent ways to become in tune with yourself etc.. Learning to access your power and letting go of the need to force an outcome. The need to be right comes from the Ego…. The Ego..is not always as… is commonly believed…an inflated view of oneself. Although, that can be one of its faces. The ego might convince you that you are less than others or that you are a victim of others.

The Ego, only cares that it gets fed and it feeds on the energy of discord, shame judgment, feeling greater, feeling lesser or anything that interferes with connection to source. You need not engage the Ego in battle…. In fact this will only make it stronger. Being aware of what the ego is and when it is active will diminish its hold on you and your world. Your awareness of this is, “light dispelling the darkness”, the ego thrives in darkness. As the ego becomes quiet through awareness, your awareness grows and your access to intuition and all that flows from source is increased.

A great book to read is "The Four Agreements", by Don Miguel Ruiz
Many books that can help you be at one with yourself which will help your connection to source. The four agreements is a practical guide to help you understand how to live in harmony what "Is"…. And helps you understanding your own world. Calming the turmoil of thoughts, feelings & judgments which block your connection with source. Once this connection is free from interference your intuition will naturally develop.
